Amit Shah, born on October 22, 1964 (age 60), in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is India’s current Home Minister, starting from 2019. He represents the Gandhinagar constituency as a Member of Parliament and is a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Shah’s political career began with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and he is a key figure in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). His major achievements include the abrogation of Article 370, which removed the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, and the introduction of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Narendra Modi, born on September 17, 1950 (age 74), in Vadnagar, Gujarat, is India’s 14th and current Prime Minister, starting from 2014. He represents Varanasi as a Member of Parliament and is a top leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Modi started his political career with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and played an important role in the BJP’s alliance, called the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
