He represents the Gandhinagar constituency as a Member of Parliament and is a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Shah’s political career began with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and he is a key figure in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). His major achievements include the abrogation of Article 370, which removed the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, and the introduction of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
