Republic Day of India, celebrated on January 26, marks the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950, making India a sovereign republic. The Constitution was primarily written by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Chairman of the Drafting Committee. The 76th Republic Day in 2025 will be celebrated with grand parades, showcasing India's military strength, cultural diversity, and technological advancements. The main event takes place at Rajpath in New Delhi, where the President of India presides over the celebrations, including the flag unfurling, a display of military might, and cultural tableaux from various states.
